Feature Request: Display Custom Product Fields on Checkout Page
Summary:
Enable support for displaying custom product fields (e.g. event date, location) directly beneath the product title on the checkout page.
Description:
CartGenie currently allows users to add additional custom fields to products via the Product Settings page. These fields (such as event-specific details like date and location) can be displayed on product pages in Webflow. However, this data is not currently carried through to the checkout page, where only standard product information and customer input fields are shown.
For event-driven or detail-specific purchases, it's important that customers can clearly see these custom product attributes at checkout to confirm accuracy before completing their order. This would enhance user trust, reduce order errors, and improve the checkout experience.
Suggested Functionality:
Allow selected custom product fields to appear under the product title in the checkout summary.
Provide toggles or checkboxes within the product settings to determine which fields are shown at checkout.
Use Case Example:
A business selling event tickets adds a custom "Event Date" and "Event Location" field to each product. When a customer checks out, these details are crucial for confirming they're buying the correct ticket—but they currently don’t appear in the cart or checkout summary.
